This museum, located in the RiNo district of Denver, is an interesting, and fun way to spend an hour if you’re in town. They have tons of cars, trains, tractors, carriages, motorcycles, bicycles etc. from various points in history. They also have a few famous movie cars. IMHO the stars of the museum are the trains. I hope to visit again post-COVID to see some of the exhibits from the inside.nThey have a small but fun souvenir shop as well. Highly recommended for something fun to do in the city.

I really enjoyed sharing this experience with my great-grandson. So many of the vehicles reminded me of special events and people. The massive train engines were astonishing.

I always try to stop in at the Forney Museum at least every year or so when visiting Denver to see what they are currently displaying. They rotate some of their artifacts and items on loan yearly so there are always new things to see. And for train buffs they always have their Big Boy 4005 steam locomotive on display - indoors! Due to covid they no longer allow visitors in the 4005's cab, but with climate controlled comfort you can take your time on photos of those close up details of the running gear.

Absolutely recommended! The museum has a great collection and everything's very well taken care of. It's very easy to keep social distance because of the huge size of the museum, and they did a very good job of setting up a one-way walkway through the museum to keep things safe. Don't let virus concerns stop you from visiting this museum, unique places like this are really struggling too keep the lights on and should be kept alive
