Mt Shasta Police Department

One of the things that makes Mount Shasta one of the best little big towns in California is the Mount Shasta Police Station and their amazing policing crew, I say - Mayberry RFD still exists here. Police that wave back at you when you drive by, police that you respect so much that you wouldn't think about doing anything illegal because you wouldn't want to lose their respect. Respect runs both ways in this funny little town and whether it's the Mount Shasta Police or an average everyday citizen like me, living in or visiting Mount Shasta has always been deemed as a privilege. The Mount Shasta Police over the years have been so helpful, thoughtful and solid as a rock, the town is still the same it was when I moved here 26 years ago and I attribute that to the diligence of Paris Cross the police chief. Yea, you'd be hard pressed to find another town and police force that cares more for their community, but then again that's why we live in an area that most people only dream about vacationing in for merely a week. All they ask is you follow the rules and don't wear out your welcome, Mayberry RFD is a special place because of the best policing in the state of California, Parish Cross and his Silver Bullet Band is solving mysteries without any clues.
