Great place to learn about N. CA and keep kids busy too! Very inconspicuous for what it holds behind its walls. Loved it so much we want to be members even though we will only be back once or twice a year. A must see for the area.
A must stop if you're going through Mt. Shasta. Especially if you have kids. They can come see and feed the trout that will be planted in the streams and lakes, plus the museum is totally interactive and fun. Lots of train stuff the kids can get hands on with. They can even drive a train(interactively) through the town and up a grade. I'm 45 years old and had fun!
They have made a lot of improvements. Very well done. A fun and interesting stop. The fish hatchery is fun for the kids and there are picnic tables too
I've been volunteering tree last 5 yrs. I help do centers as a way to participate w/both of my grandchildren. The staff are so friendly & kind w/a lot of patience & love of children. I can't begin to say enough about the teachers. Life in school goes by fast & before you know it the kids are growing up. I'm so very thankful that The teachers have allowed me to help out... My cup runneth over♡ w/blessings
Must stop by and see. Really cool place for memories. They are always changing up the back so be sure to see what's new.
