Love to take my kids here. A pass would be the perfect birthday or Christmas present. Good way for growing minds to be engaged!

Great little hands-on museum for younger children. Lots of hands-on activities including a kid sized grocery store and kitchen. A nursery area features lifelike dollies. A flowing flume and water table for exploring water. A Tot Spot allow under 3 visitor their own place to explore. Puzzles, a puppet theater and lots of interesting things to explore and learn. No screens or computers. Great place for parents and grand parents to have fun together.

Great for 3-7 age range. I often find exhibits are in need of repair, but nice pretend play areas including grocery store and home areas. Neat science for the littles. Nice staff.

This is a great place to take kids. Every activity provides an opportunity for children to explore and engage their brains and their bodies. The activities are hands on and easy to learn how to do. There is an awesome pretend play area with a grocery store area and a kitchen area. There is a book nook, easy access to family restrooms, and friendly staff. I would say Redwood Discovery Museum is geared toward kids younger than 10, but teens and adults can also enjoy trying out many of the activities. This is an ideal place to hang out on rainy and cold days when you can't take tge kids to the park. The museum often hosts free play groups, which is a great way to try it out for free. But the play group is very popular, so the museum can get crowded. It is well worth the cost of admission (or a membership) to visit when there isn't crowd. A tip for those who are easily over-stimulated by noise: take ear plugs, especially if you are going during a time when there are lots of other visitors.
