Interesting museum. Contains an active blacksmith shop and many artifacts from the town. If you ask nicely, they may let you pump the pedals on the player piano and hear a song!
Skip the inside part (or just move through quick) but definitely go check out the annex. Really cool collection of equipment and if you time it right you may just catch someone using the blacksmith forge. Plus the redwood samples are very impressive.
Very nice local museum. It has excellent displays and a nice atmosphere. I also enjoyed the agricultural, logging, and blacksmithing tools and accoutrements in the annex. If you enjoy small, local museums, this is a good one.
There is so much to see, experiencing the player piano was a work out and fun. Lyn L was most helpful with accessing resources as I did family research on the Mabel Ammer's family.
