This is a great place to take young ones and learn about local history of Ventura County. There are many interactive displays through the halls that offer hands on learning such as a general store for the kids to play in, saddles and tractors to play on, and arts and crafts tables.nnThis museum is free on the first Sunday of every month so if you want to check it out, that is the day to go as there are usually events going on those days. The local beekeeping association meets here as well so you will find an observation hive which has bees in it year round. Last but not least, if you're looking for a cool place to go on a hot day in the summer, they have air conditioning so you can enjoy your time in comfort!nnOverall this is a great museum and has constantly changing exhibits throughout the year!

This is a great small-town museum! It is housed in an old Mill building and tells the history of agriculture in the area with lots of old photos and equipment. There was plenty for little ones to do in play areas too. I really enjoyed looking at the bees busily working in their hive. Well worth $5 if you enjoy rural topics.

Kids absolutely love this place. They love playing with costumes, climbing on tractors, etc. I have fond memories of it many years ago, when it was an agricultural supply store. Wonderful staff. Excellent gift shop.

Really neat museum. Since it is such an integral part of the county I think its important to educate people

This is a fun museum especially for young children. We took our 4 and 2 year old granddaughters and they had a ball. They also learned about the history of agriculture in this beautiful valley.
