I once was homeless in Oxnard and the OPD never disrespected me or talked down at me. They always treated fair, they listened to me.nnI used to carry a heavy weight, due to some incidents and a woman OPD Officer escorted me to St John's Medical Center ER where I made peace with the ER and the OPD,who btw, had nothing to do with it.nnTwo days later I was bitten by a brown recluse and I nearly died... exactly one year after Audrey Carlyl History Maker Ramirez was torn from my soul.nnI GOT GOOD NEWS WONDERFUL AND CAPABLE BRAVE MEN AND WOMEN...nnRead the document below.nnRespectfully Yours

Doesn't surprise me that the ratings are as low as they are. Maybe Oxnard should just get rid of this waste of money and replace them with the VC sheriffs department. They are no help whatsoever in regards to real crime, but oh no if you're running 5 over the speed limit some motorcycle cop is bound to write you a ticket to meet their quota (whilst illegally hiding) .nnMaybe if the city wouldn't be in such a deficit of not for such a terribly run department.

I had an accident almost two months ago. The oxnard police department was in the scene eveything seemed okay until I got the police report there were a few things wrong with the report I contacted the officer who gave me his name, badge number and phone number. I called him and he had agree to look over and will contact mw.I waited weeks I left messages which they eventually he replied last week. He apologize for the delay and told me he was not the officer who helped me after all that there was a mistake. At that point I knew either they where not organized or simply theres a mistakes made just like my report. I was very confused he told me to pretty much leave it alone that it's not worth trying to revise. I was discouraged, I wasted time waiting for a reply thinking they may help me I'm beyond frustrated going back and forth leaving messages to the department of traffic, police officers and no reply. I heard of this done to others but did not believe it until now. I know it a process and been patient but no call back from no department since I last spoke to the officer is pretty disappointed. I left about three messages with multiple people in the traffic department since last week still nothing I'm truely upset of how evrything happened.
