Very unique! Great to help kids understand that art can come in many different forms.
My kids love coming here. Lots to see. Very informative. Lots of history and the people were extremely polite and educated. Will answer most of your questions. It's also free to enter which is always a good thing!
I really enjoyed my time at the museum. They have lots of historical memorabilia with plaques that detail the significance and purpose of the pieces. I found the exhibit to be very interesting, and I learned a lot. I will recommend the museum to all my friends and acquaintances.
If your time in the Seabees was a positive one (not saying it was easy or always fun), then this is absolutely well worth the time to visit. Not a large museum but the exhibits & dioramas depict a great history that I never knew when I was a Seabee - and it's free attendance. My family and I had a very informative, interesting and fun 2 hours here. And you can't get the NMCB patches, emblems and other memorabilia anywhere else but here.
Looking forward to seeing more historical artifacts here. Been here several times and always loved it.
