Last night I locked my buddy's keys in his car.nWe were working on it for probably over an hour before being told that the Cheney Police department would come out and unlock it for free. After calling Cheney dispatch officer Rocky was there within 5 minutes and worked tirelessly for probably over a half hour in the freezing cold to help us get into the vehicle. Thanks officer Rocky for all your hard work!

Third time asking for assistance from the Cheney police. I have met two officers on different occasions and once met two volunteers. Each encounter was friendly and helpful. This has to be the best police service/force I have encountered.
October 2K18, daughter was beaten by her ex, cheney police as well as EWU police treated my daughter with total professionalism AND RESPECT as well as arresting perp. I must say I admire this police department. I don't even live in Cheney but while visiting I accidentally locked my keys in my car, and my phone. I had no other ideas then to call the Cheney police department who was there within 5 minutes to use their slim Jim to help me get into my car. Completely saved my whole day from being a miserable disaster. They told me they do this for free as a service to the people and I found that very admirable, as I know SPD would never take the time out of their work day to help a citizen locked out of their car. Thank you Cheney PD for saving my day and being genuinely good people! Keep up the great work!
