This school is asking for the bare minimum and keeps most students at or below novice level. What my understanding is that they need to thrive the students to learn. I'm in the 8th grade and once I left that school and went to willow glen I ended up advancing and now I achieve more. That's because my teacher makes me like what I'm learning because she makes it competitive like sports. She notices what our weak ends are and don't force us to do more but encourages us to be scholars and to not quit.
Very Pleased with this school, my daughter education has upped levels, Compared to schools in Los Angeles county. I will contined my daughter education here and recommend! Thank you Washington elementary staff.
This is an absolutely horrible school! Teachers are rude to kids and yell at them. They dont even give out homework hardly ever. Its like they do the basic minium to keep their jobs. most the kids are out of control bullies! I'm in the process of trying to get a district transfer for my child. I will add that the principal is awesome and is really trying to straighten the school up.
The school has the lowest testing scores. They have next to no resources for children with special needs. The teachers past the 1st grade are rude. And teachers favor their lil pets. They dont stop and think that a child with special needs have to work twice as hard to achieve what the other kids do. But they go unrecognized.. Next year I will be looking for other schools to place my lil one.
My boys have been going to this school for years. There is a new principle this year. A lot of improvements have been made to the school over the summer.
