I know there’s so many different people that have different experiences with the police department. I’m going to say that this is one of the best Police departments of any city I have ever lived in. I lived all across the country and in so many different states. it’s a small town and you can’t expect them to be everywhere like other larger cities. That being the case they are always available and show up immediately which means within 5 minutes or less. Ty OPD!

I received a letter saying i was detained for drugs and have never been arrested before in my life. I am a united states veteran that has to go to physical therapy and polytrama as well. I called multiple times to see if thier was another way to clear my name as they insisted that they could not conduct a proper report without me comming in. I live 3 towns over and with no car, road my bike for 3 hrs. Just to be told that thier was nothing they can do. I asked for the report on my apperant detention and refused. I also talked to the watch commander, Mike Nixon, to make a report and the watch commander threatened to have me arrested if I didn't leave the station. I firmly believe this is an injustice to clear my name and because of your departments actions I have already talked to the oakdale leader and am on my way to the Modesto Bee. I understand that it was just a detainee but when I want to file a report against someone using my name they don't want to file it. Where is my justice where is your Integrety.

During Christmas the community along with OPD sponsored my family thru Magnolia Elementary and had it not been for their kindness and generousity my boys wouldnt of had very many gifts to open. I am grateful for the opportunity to actually enter the Police station for a positive reason and share that with my children!!

My ex called the cops on me and I was really drunk.Theofficer was way cool ..bought me a burrito. Detained not arrested. Good times.
