Commute daily on SMART to San Rafael. Beats the 101 any day of the week (especially Friday afternoon going in to the Narrows, or heading south into Petaluma). The monthly Clipper pays for itself after about two weeks of rides.

This is the SMART stop I use the most. It is clean and pretty heavily used as compared to the Rail Road Square station and others in the County. There is no parking lot for it, but there is some parking, even free neighborhood street parking just down the tracks/path by Jennings Ave if know the area.

By far the best way to travel. Try it once and you will be amazingly satisfied. It beats sitting on the 101 any day of the week.

I've ridden it once and been very impressed. Well manufactured, well kept rolling stock and an excellent website. Staff is courteous and helpful. With a senior discount, the fares aren't bad either. Sure beats driving west on 101

The train is by far my favorite way to travel.. I dread the day I have to get back on the 101 to travel. Try the train once and you'll see what I'm talking about. They have a snack bar that serves wine and your basic drinks no beer. The bathrooms are clean , it's smooth, quiet , you can bring your bikes on board and service animals AR welcome as well. All the employees very friendly and have nothing but good things to say about SMART Train. Let's just put it this way I used to drive all the time I refuse to even drive down to Marin or even to the city. Public transportation is way to travel especially with the Smart Train.
