Officers are quick to draw their weapons on unarmed citizens at random.
Police are absolutely useless. Had two very loud parties on the street so I called the police. They don't do anything. I complained that a car from the party parked in front of my house right in the middle so my neighbor or i could park in front of the house without blocking our own driveway and they said blocking your own driveway is illegal. I see nothing but 1 star reviews. Clearly for as many officers they have it's a huge waste of taxpayers money.
I have nothing but great comments about the Rohnert Park Police Department. The few officers I had the opportunity to interact with were always courteous, respectful and helpful when we needed their support.
Called about a man sleeping in the red zone in my works parking lot, second time I’ve had to call about him (first time he was in our handicap ramp) was put on hold for 6 mins by this time he left so I’m scrambling to write down his license plate while the lady is yelling at me and I’m trying to explain but she just kept cutting me off. So this was dismissed and ignored even though this man is vile anytime you ask him to leave and I feel my safety is threatened when he is around due to his actions. So I tell them the license plate number that I got I was then laughed at and told that’s not a license plate number. The lady called me a joke and put my safety at risk for every night he sleeps in our parking lot (which is every night)!
