A great piece of history, the all volunteer crew have done an excellent job maintaining a 70 year old war ship. Very hands on and lots to see.

The volunteers are doing a tremendous job of restoring this craft. Thorough tours of this incredible ship are free but donations are appreciated. Easy to access and a great history lesson with many relics from the period to see.

Pound for pound, this class of ships was the most heavily armed ship ever. Stepping aboard, this becomes blatantly obvious. Weapons emplacements everywhere give sense to the missions this ship and her crew endoured.nnThe very knowledgeable group of volunteers who maintain her are more than happy to give you their enclyclopedic knowledge of the ship, her history, and the times she served in.

Wonderful amazing boat. Crazy what it took to be a sailor onboard in the day
