I lived here last year and it was less than satisfactory. Would not recommend unless it was your last resort. The manager was adamant about wanting us to contact them if we wanted lightbulbs changed and it took a MONTH to for them to change it. My roommate and I sat in the dark in our room for a MONTH. The bathroom/shower area was DISGUSTING. Grew mold every few months that we’d have to scrub with bleach so we wouldn’t get sick. Also, I personally cleaned more than my fair share at the end of spring semester check out. Did the walk through, got the go-ahead that everything was good, and then didn’t get my full deposit back for a surprise “cleaning fee” that wasn’t ever mentioned. Literally cleaned most of the place by myself and that reflected in my sign off sheet. When I tried to get in contact about it I got ignored. Don’t waste your time or money. Not worth the hassle.

lemme just warn you they claim to be an inexpensive student housing. Well they’re not. 50$ extra if you pay your rent monthly, terrible internet it’s $100/month extra if you want it to be decent, and utilities are an extra $40-60/month. Odds are you won’t get your deposit back either. Also they advertise a hot tub but there isn’t one. GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE

I wish I could rate this place zero stars. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place. I lived here for 3 years and the only reason I stayed was because I didn’t want to go through the trouble of finding a new place for the new semester. For the 3 years that I lived here let me tell you what was fixed, NOTHING. My blinds were broken and even though I told the manager, she did nothing about it. I ended up putting index cards on my window to cover up the holes so the people in the car wash behind me couldn’t stare into my window. The dryer was broken and you had to dry your clothes 3-4 times for them to actually be dried. When we told her about it last year she came over and was like oh it’s your dryer filter it needs to be emptied. She then ignored our further complaints. Our fire alarms were not working and so she just removed them. For 3 years I have not had any and I’m pretty sure that’s illegal. We haven’t had a fridge handle, the weather strip on the door doesn’t work, and my bedroom door didn’t even stay closed. All 3 years that I moved in I would tell The manager when I would be showing up and every time she was not there and I was locked out of my apartment for hours with my whole family and cars full of boxes. My last complaint is the on the on site maintenance guy Spencer. He was an absolute jerk. I was asleep one morning around 10 am and he started pounding on the door and I did not get up to answer it because I was not dressed and still in bed. Then he decided to just let himself in, to change a damn lightbulb. Totally unprofessional and a HUGE invasion of privacy.

If you are looking for a cheap place to live, don't care about the atmosphere that you live in, or don't want your security deposit back, Stonebrook is the place for you. Management is awful and has no idea what is going on. They recently renovated the outside to make it more appealing, but just about everything on the inside of every unit that I have been in has awful carpet that you wouldn't dare walk on without shoes, has furniture you wouldn't want to touch with a stick, and the appliances are so old and outdated you might as well cook your food on an open flame and wash your clothes in a river. There are several lights that don't work and no effort has been made to try and repair them. The old internet was a nightmare and so slow it was almost useless. A lot of the tenants were reaching out to ISP's and paying for their own internet. A change was made so that every apartment would get their own connection, but for the apartments that were already paying for their internet separately, they told them that the complex would not be putting internet in those apartments. Parking is also a nightmare with people parking behind one another and parking in red zones, which is illegal and nothing seems to be said or done about these issues. The on site manager is an absolute jerk and tries to pawn his own mistakes off onto the tenants. He is constantly finding the best appliances and furniture for himself and a few others and leaves the rest of the complex with the undesirables. He will often walk into the apartments uninvited and not knocking. I woke up one morning around 8 a.m. to him walking around in my apartment. He also broke the lock for one of my friends bikes and threw it away because he "hadn't seen anyone ride it lately." It is the beginning of May and it is just barely getting warm enough to even begin ridding a bike. I have included pictures of one of the apartments that shows the trashiness and lack of maintenance and care that is put into these units. The only good thing I can say about Stonebrook is that it is cheap. The downside, you get to deal with all of the above. Stay away and find some place other to live that will treat you like humans instead of animals.

I was ripped off with my security deposit because of a cleaning penalty. It was spotless and the manager checked me off before I moved out. When I attempted to fight it, I just got ignored.
