The Santa Cruz Waldorf School is a magical place for children. In our fast paced society the Waldorf School provides a space for children to slow down use their imagination and develop a love for learning. We have 2 kids at the school and we have always been pleased with the dedication and excellence of the faculty. The Santa Cruz Waldorf School community is very loving, welcoming and fun!

My Waldorf education gave me an innate appreciation for nature and the arts, instilled compassion and self-worth, and cultivated a lifelong desire to critically think and to learn. It has shaped who I am, and was, without a doubt, responsible for the magical and innocent childhood I was blessed to experience. Waldorf is a community where children are cherished and nurtured and encouraged to hold onto their childhood for as long as possible. With parent involvement and a deep rooted relationship between the teachers and students, it offers an incredible alternative to the failing public education experienced.

The Waldorf School approach is such a stark contrast to the failures happening in public schools. Children thrive in this environment and continue to be passionate learners as they grow older. Deep and community focused, the Santa Cruz Waldorf school shows how teachers and parents can come together and inspire children to want to learn and bring love and joy into everything they do.

Waldorf is a dream school for my daughter. We love it here and we feel truly supported when it comes to our healthy lifestyle. My daughter is learning so many skills here that are truly life enhancing. Permaculture gardening, yoga, Spanish, creativity, knitting, art, building, nutrition, life essentials, community, togetherness, empowerment, traditions, on top of math, science, history. We have sooo much gratitude.

This Waldorf school isn't very good. While Waldorf in theory has wonderful elements, they are largely absent here due to inflexible, almost cultist thinking by the faculty. We had expected so much more and withdrew our child before the year was out.
