This review is for the Ace Hardware on Bascom Avenue in Los Gatos. I purchased a quart of paint for touch up they gave me a high gloss rather than a satin. When they went back they would not give him my money back or the proper product.. I have gone there for 30 years but I won't be back. The manager at the counter when I talked to her was extremely rude.
I was in for a quick grab of items for 2 honeydo projects. Dave has worked there for as long as I have been shopping for my miscellaneous hardware and lumber needs there. He always asks if he can help and I have found him to be very knowledgable about what they carry and where to find it. This trip was no exception and Dave had me in and out within 10 minutes!nnIt is rare indeed when I can't find what I need here. Everything from air and power tools to picture wire and all the fasteners to hang anything on any surface. Building a shed out back? They have the piers, lumber, and roofing materials to do that. Painting your kids bike? That's covered too along with the tools needed to tear it down and tape it up to ready for paint. You name it, they likely have it in stock and can guide you to it quickly.
