My water heater stopped working of coarse on a Saturday. I found out the warranty ran out about a year ago. I called Payless after checking out yelp and Home advisor they were very attentive to my needs on the phone and had a plumber Joey at my home that afternoon. He was very honest and not pushy for the most expensive package and was forthright about pros and cons. Joey O was quick and cleaned up plus added a new ball valve for free. He really did a good job and would not hesitate to call them in the future. Thanks Payless Water Heaters

My old water heater needed to be replaced. I called several plumbers. After getting the runaround from my appliance warranty company, I called two plumbers that didn’t even bother to show up. I called Payless on a Saturday evening, and and they sent someone the next morning. Joe R. arrived on time, was courteous, professional, and replaced my old water heater quickly. He even cleaned up the dusty closet before installing the new one! THANK YOU Payless for saving the day!

Be careful when asking for a quote from this company. I got tricked by them. I asked clearly on Yelp for how much they charge to replace a thermocouple of the water heater, they replied with message and said “service fee $59 + part”. Then I scheduled an appointment with them and a guy came and said he will charge $59 consultation fee + $349 to replace the thermocouple (the part costs less than $10 at Home Depot)! I ended up paying the $59 fee to them, and got another company replaced the thermocouple for “service fee $150 included part”!
