The Stinson

I stayed at the Stinson for a year before relocating to Virginia. I had some challenges with management as it was difficult find anyone in the office. Some of the tenants do not care about parking rules, I have stayed in my car couple of times waiting for someone to move out of my spot or to move away from the dumpster so that I can have access to my parking spot which was close to the dumpster. I even wanted to call Avenue5 one time to report this issue because it was inconvenient. Manuella, the maintenance guy was super helpful. He was very quick in fixing issues in the apartment. Overall, I believe they have some improvement to do.

I lived at the Stinson for a year and had nothing but positive experiences especially when Tiffany took over the property as manager.nMy maintenance requests were completed quickly and always done correctly.nThe office was always clean and welcoming.nI unfortunately had to move to be closer to work but this apartment complex is great!

I’ve rented at 5 different complexes since I started renting. This is one of my two favorite places so far. We have been living here for a month now and here are my thoughts on the complex:nnThe apartment (our 2bdrm 2bath) is decent size for the price. Our last place was almost half the size and we were paying $100 less but only had 1 bathroom!nnThe walls aren’t to thin. I don’t hear the upstairs neighbors unless their kid is running around during the day but even then it’s not very loud.nnParking isn’t crazy. Visitor parking is a little far away from our building, but I never seem to have issues getting a spot unless it’s past 8PM and even then we’ve had luck.nnWe are in a corner unit facing the back so we don’t get traffic. It’s nice we don’t get to hear a lot of noise except for the freeway and to hear it we are usually laying in bed.nnMichelle was super nice and professional. She was patient with me while I bugged her a few times about our apps. She has a nice tone of voice and a super calm vibe. Very helpful!nnI’ve seen security here a few times when the office is closed which is nice. Glad to know that they actually come instead of being told they come when they really don’t. The mailboxes are under surveillance 24/7 which is awesome to help keep thieves away.nnI really enjoy it here so far. The only cons I would say is that the W/D is inside the master bathroom so if you have a roommate (we have our 15 yr old son), they would have to go thru your room and into your bathroom to do laundry. The other thing is the garbage containers are kinda small.

Awesome office lady. Great management company. The complex looks way better then it did two years ago.

Wasted a year of my life at this place paying rent and having things break on me left and right. If you need to go to the office, forget about it. There never there if you need something.
