Big shout out to the local Grover Beach Police Department.nIt wasn't an emergency 911 call;nBut when my dog and the neighbors dogs detected a prowler at our backyard fence, which I witnessed, and then I saw him again an hour later.. a quick Google search for the local number and a detailed call.. They swooped in within literally seconds of me hanging up to check it out. And then showed up again in a pair to double check and walk around.nNot sure if you guys located the man that appeared multiple times outside our apartment tonight, but the girls and I thank you for your protection! We appreciate you guys looking out for us!

I am a disabled individual who has been evicted from the Room I've been staying in with X family members. Every time the family members show up to this house they verbal I accost me and move things around in the garage of mine blocking access to them. These are elderly people who are trying to get me to hit them so that they can call the cops and claim elderly abuse. I called the Grover Beach police department and they sent out basically Barney Fife with a badge who told me I need to ignore them stay in my Room and just be cordial or not say anything. After he told them the same thing they left, I then called the police department to ask what was the resolve, this officer Lin got on the phone and proceeded to lecture me about how they're here to solve crimes not be personal security to people like me. I informed him that I am disabled he at that time told me basically I have no rights they can come here calling people names and harassing is not a crime and there's nothing I can do about it. I then hung up the phone and realize I have no rights as a disabled person this city scares me!

We just moved here from Arroyo Grande, across from the skate park. We were told this wasn't the best area, but the owners are cleaning out and brining good people in. One of our cars doesn't have a licence plate on the front, and a grover beach officer decided to give us a ticket after midnight, no questions asked. So many times Arroyo police saw our car and nothing. I suppose this officer with no balls had to meet his quota. I have no respect for you. We are a hard working family that struggles to meet our needs and honestly I am afraid to live here with police officers like that. You deserve no stars.
