Payton's is a very friendly place with the best hardware selection ever. They always have fresh popcorn for the kids. Very helpful employees.
This is your traditional 'local hardware store' where they may not have everything you need, but they have most of it. The folks are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable and I find that come away from there each time I go with a positive impression. They even used to have an old fashioned popcorn maker where you could grab a bag on your way out but with Covid, that has had to stop. For now.nThey take the pandemic seriously and will require face coverings for service.
I like this place. It doesn't have the selection like a big box store, but they have what you need. They do however have a 20 foot aisle of assorted fasteners with a thorough selection of meteic, standard, stainless, aluminum, brass, and grade 5-8 nuts, and bolts. Friendly staff also. Try this place next time you're looking for something.

Verify your product stock before wasting my time having to go all the way down there. “Oh I thought it was that one” what poor customer service. Asked very specifically for the product and you said you had it in stock. Now I should invoice them for my time. Ridiculous.
