We had stopped for gas at the Flying J in Nephi on Dec 30 and inadvertently locked ourselves out of our motor home with the motor running. Officer Peterson responded to our call and tried several things to open it - we were ready to call a locksmith when he gave it one more try to wedge a window open. It worked and he saved us a lot of time and money! He was so courteous and helpful and we so appreciated him. Thanks to all our officers for all that they do. Pat Dagley

Juab County Law Enforcement really needs to get the proper training instead of violating peoples rights. A guy cant even go to the flying j to get some grub and walk back to his motel room with out being harassed. No probable cause whats so ever just profiling. The cop had no right and his reasoning for his actions were due to me wearing a black shirt. Pretty disgusting my family has done more than just fight and serve this country to make it what it is or was ( Liberty, and Justice for All ) and servicemen like you in a uniform thats bought and paid for by tax payers dollars are destroying and degrading it. Absolutely beyond sickening!! If this is the kind of profiling and violation of my Constitutional Rights I received with ignorance I can only begin to imagine how many other things among the community are handled with complete disregard and HATE 🚷

So my wife and I did a quick turnaround to Cedar City and back to Murray yesterday. On the way back, tired we pulled off the 1st offramp in Nephi and switched places, me driving now. We got home and lo and behold no dog in the truck. Our little 9lb Bichon must have popped out in the dark and we didn't see him or notice till we got home. We called the Highway Patrol and they called Nephi Police Dept. The officer called us half way back to Nephi and informed us he'd spotted our dog. After some searching we finally found our dog of 14 years and everyone was happy. Thanks to the Nephi Police Officer that stayed on sight to watch our dog and the help of a local resident.
