Great museum to learn about GF and the areas around. Everyone working there is very friendly with lots of great info. Lots of cool info online and the app is a great bonus for driving the mountain loop.
This museum continues to be my absolute favorite in the area. You can really tell how passionate both Tom and Fred are about this area’s history, and the different mining artifacts and pictures are incredible to see! Highly recommend giving them a visit when the world opens up again!
Very memorable place to go to
Love going there a fun place to learn about the local history! You must drop in and explore! The locals who run the place love filling you in on the facts!
This is a great museum and is very well put together. So much information that you can go online and really fill your head. Only open on Sunday's from 12-5 but its run by all volunteers with no debt so kudos for what they do provide.
