In Feb. 2017, my husband was a victim of a crime in Jurupa Valley. This station's officers were so helpful and gave great service to my husband and I when we visited recently to get copies of the police report. While we were waiting, we observed the respectful way they treated each person that came to the counter for various needs. Very impressive!
I called and a woman answered the phone and asked if I could be placed on hold and I said yes. However, 5 plus minutes later and I was still on hold. I hung up and called back and got a voicemail and the voicemail box was full. Seriously?
Waited over 2hrs for an officer to arrive to make a report...officer never arrived. I'm deeply disappointed.
Last night, December 14th, I was sitting in my car at McDonald's on Mission Blvd having a coffee when I observed a sheriff approach a homeless guy as the guy was parking his bicycle. I was too far away to hear what they were saying but I assumed it wasn't good, boy was I surprised when the sheriff walked away and returned with a bag of food for the guy!nThe media is quick to report police shootings but seldom do they report acts of kindness!nnMajor kudos to this sheriff, what he did was pretty cool!!.....I didn't get his name but he was a short balding guy, if you see him give him a thumbs up!
