Aloha Placer County! On December 10, 2019 I was brutally arrested by ROSEVILLE POLICE on a 7 year old Warrant from Minnesota. The Officers at So Placer Jail took great care of me! Kind, caring and the Medical Staff was attentive to a 63 year old man's needs. Although I would be Extradited to St Louis County Jail in Duluth Minnesota, the Officers in Placer were great. Thank you Sheriff Devon Bell! Capt Stanley J Howard IRS Enrolled Agent

I have a lot of respect for law-enforcement, as I am a us army veteran and understand the difficulties of securing an area. But I have never been more appalled buy a sheriffs department Than when I was pulled over and harassed simply because I was knocking door-to-door in the neighborhood to attempt to feed my family and I have out-of-state license plates. I had just left a house I was attempting to do business with, and I was walking to my truck to leave. I waved at the sheriff on his way down the street to let him know I was harmless and the sheriff returned my gesture with a cold stare, then immediately followed me.Upon seeing this I knew he had made it his personal mission to pull me over and would find some petty reason to pull me over. (In my experience to collect tax dollars for the state)My license, registration, and insurance are all valid on my lights are functional and I never speed as their are families in the area, and yet I have been in the neighborhood for two weeks and seen multiple vehicles with non-functional headlights massive amounts of body damage and expired tags driving recklessly all not getting harassed simply because they live in the area. What does it matter where you are from if you are breaking the law? How threatening really am I in the neighborhood with out-of-state plates that say Indiana army veteran. Are there just veterans out here breaking into communities or causing general mischief? I don’t get it but I feel like I was definitely guilty until proven innocent in dealing with the sheriffs. Then he called another suv with 2 deputies who surrounded my vehicle. I was not doing anything that was harming anybody and I was not breaking any laws so why was I immediately treated like a criminal.when I stopped, I threw my keys on the dash and kept my hands in plain sight and he didn’t end up citing me but I feel he was fishing for a way to, instead of paying attention to the people actually breaking the law in his own backyard
