Disneyland Drop Off

Now I don't enjoy Disney land, but for Covid-19 they have set up the park extremely well

Quick maneuvering of vehicles. We didn't have to wait long for our car to pull through. It didn't affect traffic on the main road either.

I drive for Lyft. This is a place where you can get rides if you come cruising Southbound on Harbor from Ball. If it looks like it's not too congested you can go active on your app are the chances are there will be something for you. Within a few minutes you'll be on a call. If it's a short one no big deal, just cycle back around and again the chances are there will be something else for you. Have been to both Marina Del Rey and Santa Monica this week from this spot, on Monday and then again last night Friday. If you choose to pass it by just go down to Katella turn right then turn right up Walnut. Chances are once again there will be something in the area for you. It fits into the set of basic driving strategies that a taxi driver would use. Unfortunately for the taxi drivers, they've been aced out by self-employed folks. When I was a taxi driver most of us worked in the way I just described. There were certain corrupt outfits that established contracts for places like airports and the resort area and the rest of us couldn't pick up there. We faced fines of $1,000 and six months in County Jail. People used to pay about twice as much from rides based upon a meter in the car, another corrupt feature. It's like medallions for taxi companies back east. It's all a good old boy system, and the free market is sending it down the tubes. If you want to be a successful taxi driver, use your wits and apply the basic strategies that any animal should know. Keep your car clean and be courteous. Look upon the range of events as opportunities. Prepare for them and the results will be fortuitous. The goose is laying lots of eggs at the drop off....

Disney is going to have to make this flow better to better utilize the pick up drop off area. I've had ride shares leave me because its almost impossible to get in during peak time. Not sure the solution

Horrible, yellow taxis think they own the lot. Park however they want and will block you in. There should be someone out there directing traffic
