Brea Police Department

Pulled over for not observing the signs that says no commercial traffic between the hours of 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. there is no doubt that I was on that road against the vehicle code as I was pulled over somewhere around 5:30 a.m. I've definitely been pulled over by worse Police departments then the Brea Police department. It seems the only issue I had with the officer who pulled me over was that he asked me to pull my hands out of my pockets and there is no law that says I have to do so unless I'm being detained for a crime. Absolutely fickle thing to pick at the police about but I was being pulled over for what I consider policing for profit. However after requesting a supervisor the officer complied and a supervisor was on scene quickly, police training was discussed in a professional manner and I may add at no time where any of the officers rude but rather one got aggressive with words only.the way the officers handled the situation after my complaints deserves a higher score but since I was being pulled over and served with a ticket which sucks I give it three stars. When I was younger cops were the coolest and I always wanted to be one, but time has eroded this relationship between the public and the police departments and I could tell by these officers demeanor that they also would like to reconnect with the community in a way that might still have some human compassion tied to it.

I find the officers of Brea to be very professional and courteous. They are our heroes. Let's celebrate them!

The Brea Police Department is a phenomenal public agency. Other police departments should be modeled after BPD. Every officer I've met has been nothing but kind and compassionate. Even when I get pulled over, I never feel unsafe or like the officer is targeting me. They respond to calls in a relatively fast manner and are very good with conflict resolution. Overall, a great agency and I'm glad to have them looking over Brea.

Why do the City of Brea. Makes us the residents pay for parking permits. When they don enforce the ordinances?nI see a lots of vehicles parked overnight with out permits.ud83dude21ud83dude21ud83dude21ud83dude21ud83dude21ud83dude21
