If I could give them 0 stars I would. I called and they showed up 3 days later! They came to my house and they gave me a bad attitude right away!
Salinas officers have always been professional, polite, and friendly. The problem is their response time. My neighbors party constantly. Their music is loud. They chant and yell...outside...in the street. It’s 11:30 p.m. as I write this. The police were called at 10. The neighbors have been at it for 9.5 hours, and this is a short one. Sometimes they start on Friday night, party for 36 hours, and argue in the backyard on Sunday morning, but, evidently, nothing can be done. I have lived here for 22 years and, from experience, I know their nonemergency response time is approximately 2 hours. This is a quality of life concern.
