Decent train station and transit center. It's not the prettiest, and it can be kinda tricky to navigate between the high-traffic streets around it, but the service is good on the SMART or Golden Gate Transit buses.
Had a great, smooth ride yesterday round trip Windsor - San Rafael! Our first trip on SMART TRAIN. -The four of us (two of our group were retired North Western Pacific 45 / 30 yr retirees) all enjoyed the on-board beer, hard cider, spectacular Spring country views and friendly SMART TRAIN staff !
Traffic is so much worse since the train messed up the lights. Gotta love that hundreds are inconvenienced by every train that rolls through with 12 people on it and how much is it costing us? At least someone is making money, every train has a rent-a-cop.
It’s a nice station. The connections to transit are tight. So be ready to hoof it across 3rd street.
It's a good place and a big platform and on the train it is beautiful
