First time going there and they had with my husband was looking for thank you

I love Harbor Freight, great prices, decent quality, but so much is out of stock lately. We aren't able to order items to be shipped since we travel in a semi truck. I really wish they had replacement carbide tips for their engraver; this is my 3rd engraver. I wish I didn't have to buy an entirely new one every time the tips wore out. The engraver is great for marking tools and equipment, but prone to breaking!

Great place to find tools you didn't know you need. Solid replacement options if your tools break down too.

First off I understand that harbor freight is a discount tool company and the tools they sell are not always going to be the best quality. I bought a belt sander a little over a year ago and it died in the middle of a job. Knowing nothing about belt sanders I figured it was maybe a fuse so I asked someone there. He very rudely told me they don't offer parts for their tools and I could either call the company to get a new fuse or just buy a new one. So no fix and I left feeling a little less than great. Today returned again and was looking for a replacement charger for one of their older models. The First Lady I dealt with walked me over to the 12v charger(mine is 18v and I told her that) and she said this is what I got if it should work fine. Again 12 volt and different shape I even had it with me. So I walked around and ran into the same guy. He was a little more helpful but again could met my needs so he instantly tried to sell me a new tool( I was looking for a saw and he tried to sell ne a drill). So care for customers was lacking. I went to look at sanders still I need of a new one. Clearance on a new on almost half off great deal. I go up to check out and the price is wrong. So we go look the lady so helpful tried to take care of me. So she calls a manger and her comes Mr upsale. So we explain and he says the codes are different and the one I was looking for was 34.99 not 49.99 original price. Not true both models look identical and yes codes are wrong but price is an exact match expect the discount price. Low and behold the have sold out of the clearance price but they haven't updated their display. He did offer me 20 percent off which was nice but no where close to the clearance price. It got a little heated and I left before one of us said something our Mama would not have been proud of. If you have an item that is sold out take down the display don't make excuses and take care of your customers.
