First Rate installed a new recirculating pump for my hot water heater. I initially called B. Carlson and the plumber quoted me and wrote in the quote that the pump which they had installed two years prior needed to be replaced due to lack of maintenance on the water heater. This in effect would void the three year warranty on the part. When I called First Rate they said the wanted to investigate, and quoted me a cheaper price. When Brad came he discovered that whoever installed the water heater initially used galvanized pipe. It was almost blocked with corrosion and should have been replaced when the recirculating pump was installed initially. I now have brass replacement parts and a new quiet pump. I am extremely happy with the service I received and will definitely be using First Rate from now on. I very much appreciated them having the part with them when they came instead of scheduling me for an added appointment and I was scheduled within a week of when I called.

I discovered a problem with water in my attic from my air conditioner and didn't know what was causing the problem. First Rate came out and they were very thorough and professional in helping me solve the issue. They are completely fair and reasonably priced. The tech that came out not only wore a face mask (now in the era of COVID) but was careful to cover his shoes every time he was going to enter my house. I was so impressed with this company, their service and their pricing, I am signing up for their yearly maintenance program for my heating and cooling system. Every single employee could take lessons from the people who work for this company on customer service.
We would highly recommend this company. Mario is super friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with. The installers, Dave and Jake, were very professional and courteous. They were efficient and left everything clean. The price they quoted was the final price. We were very happy with everyone and their services.
Brad was very informative and explained each detail as he worked on our radiant heat. Also explained the various components of the system which gave me a better understanding. I highly recommend First Rate to anyone needing work on their AC or heating systems.
