I needed to file a police report for a stolen package, and wasn’t able to complete it online. I sent an email for help, and next thing I know two officers came to my house to take the report! They were very nice and accommodating, and I really appreciate that they cared about my situation.
The Altadena Sheriff Station was very courteous and responsive to my concerns!
Just wanted to thank the Sheriff's office for their help with an extremely stressful situation in which a young 17 year old girl is being harassed by her dad's new wife. The girl, her older sister and I (friend, letting the girl live with me) desperately needed help to figure out how to protect the girl from this is extremely unstable lady in the military (Army Reserves).
Worst of the worst. Nothing better to do than troll the streets and give tickets and tow people. They harassed my brother-in-law at the park in Altadena for unloading party supplies for my nephew's 3yr old party when there was NO OTHER WAY to unload it. It went to court and the mediator told them all it was a WASTE OF TIME. They towed MY car instead of knocking on the door for it to be moved into the driveway and wasted 2 days and cost me over 500 dollars. OH and whomever answers the phones is RUDE. They are A USELESS department with nothing better to do than harass. They don't protect the residents, they just harass for ticket money. TERRIBLE.
Parked on the street in my neighborhood in Altadena, after driving it, going to work and going shopping. About 12 hours later the next morning, I got a warning from LA Sheriff in Altadena for parking consecutively for more than 72 hours.nnWhy not actually try solving some of the problems in Altadena instead of harassing residents...
