I’ve been a resident of College Park Estate since 2009 and I was pulled over this past Sunday 1/4/20 around 9 a.m. the officer ran my plates and said tags was expired but car is current I gave him license and my DL and he came back saying sorry there must be a glitch and sent me on my way. I felt like I was racially profiled based on my ethnicity for him to even run my plates and I think it’s so wrong to practice this type of unprofessionalism this’s my second incident with University Police department in being racially profiled and bias toward a certain ethnic group.

Great bunch of guys. Obviously there’s some bad apples, but that’s true of any job.nnFor the people complaining about deportation laws: on CSULB’s website, it clearly states that campus police will not work with federal agencies to deport a student. They can’t tell them not to come to campus, but they won’t help them.
Literal trash. I was having a panic attack and asked for help and they just stood there and watched me hyperventilate and then said some comment about how they couldn't do anything... Campus police needs to reevaluate why they are even there- TO HELP AND SERVE STUDENTS. RIGHT? Am I wrong? I'm pretty sure you're supposed to protect people, not stand around and chuckle at whose SUV gets better gas mileage. Not make things worse when students are already struggling.
