Tacoma Police Department

On December 11, 2006 my son was killed in his apartment. I am not over it of course but I just found this site. I want to say that the Detectives and Officers at that time were the best, and within a day had apprehended my sons killers. I never had a chance to say thank you for the fantastic work and skill of this gentlemen and I am forever grateful for having them in this city! Tacoma is the best in my eyes and I have respect for all the fine Officers out there protecting our City.nnLibby Wagner

Super unorganized!!! My friend was wrongfully arrested, and the jail was trying to contact me to verify his story. When I called them back, they said they couldn't take a statement and that I'd have to contact a detective at the sheriff's department instead. Then the same 2-3 departments kept transferring me back and forth, telling me I need to talk to the previous person, not them. Finally, I gave up and reached out to his apartment complex to deal with the situation on his behalf, because the law treats corporations with more respect than actual people.

They were very gentle when they handcuffed me, and their patrol vehicles are incredibly roomy! Overall, very professional. Will get arrested again.
