Nice
Nothing special about this place, it was clean and I didn't notice any bums or homeless camped out there so it was alright
The machine where you pay the parking is not working. And this is the second time I take the train from here and that machine is still not working and it took my $3. But other than that it's convenient that they have Outlets pretty much on every spot where you sit.
Im really thankful the train runs as late as it does and as often as it does, because most lines are not nearly so good. Im especially thankful for the late Saturday night train that arrives here headed for San Bernardino at nearly midnight. However, later and more frequent trains are really needed, especially on weekends - which could also use earlier trains too.nnAlso, security here is TERRIBLE. The station is somewhat dangerous. There are drug deals going on, vandals targeting peoples' cars and defacing Metrolink property, passengers being harassed, plus intoxicated bums acting psychotic. Theyre here like all the time. The city actually has granted them permission to loiter here all day/night. Theyre easy to spot: Mostly young people on bicycles looking like theyre on meth or something plus there's one or two scary looking middle aged homeless crackheads. Fulltime security and a staffed station are desperately needed along with more police patrols.nnIf you need help, the police station is just across the tracks behind the large parking structure. Do not hesitate to call them if you feel unsafe or uncomfortable here. The more people who report these problems, the better! You can remain anonymous if you want.nnTicket machines frequently do not work and trying to purchase a ticket online is risky as the Metrolink app doesnt work on all phones, plus sometimes there are glitches, and if your phone battery dies you could be fined or even kicked off the train if you cant prove you bought a ticket. Buy your ticket before boarding.nnWhen the Dodgers are playing, sometimes there is a special Dodger train going to LA and back that anyone can take. Call Metrolink for details (they are open 7 days, and i think theyre open pretty late in the evening).
