We are transplants to the City of Rowland Heights and tried their public school system. After only one month, we knew that we need to transfer our kids to a better school. Luckily we found Southlands Christian, this school does not focus only on academics but take character building and morals seriously. They have excellent teachers and support staff. The gem here is the principal, from what I heard she was a former teacher. Every interaction we have with her is positive, we can tell that she always have the students' welfare as priority number one.
The teachers at Southlands are hard working and professional. They embrace the learning environment and encourage students to work hard and excel academically. Students who embrace the opportunity to learn will grow academically and in character.
This is a wonderful school! Preschool - 12th grade all on one campus, with caring teachers in a safe, nurturing environment. High academics, character training, and as a Christian school, Bible classes and chapel are included! It truly would be difficult to find all that Southlands has to offer elsewhere.
Southlands has truly changed my son's life. The sense of family between the students, staff and faculty is like no other school. My son has been provided opportunities he would have otherwise never experienced.
My 9 year old has been attending the school for a year now. He has drastically improved his studies. He is now focused and learned to finish his work. He is very proud of himself and it was all the work of this excellent school! He is now focused on excelling in each subjects and school provides enough challenges to make his progress exciting.
