I do not know how Great Schools and Niche ranks but for my Fourth Grader this school was a definite 10/10. His teacher (Mrs Ramos) was just fabulous and the school is very open to parents. Perhaps they are a bit too focused on funding drives but I understand that is what gets you the resources such as a math teacher for the more gifted set etc. The management is welcoming and they are more than happy to have parents volunteer and look in on classes. I definitely recommend it. Someone once told me the mark of a good school are the walls - look what they have on it and Hancock is plastered with student art works, showing how much pride they take in their student's accomplishments. From where I lived, the school was just a short walk away so I was never stuck in the parking and drop off line which is often a bugbear for other students' parents.
My son came from Rosewood Elementary and really loves it here at Hancock. Great kids and great learning. Loves his Teacher. Loves the after care Got Game. Loves the Sports.
My daughter goes here. She is learning so much and the teachers are great! I think its one of the best schools in town.
I went there on April 28,2017 . I went to there talent show and it was very nice.
Great School with awesome teachers, but the school should do atleast two checkups a year on things like the water fountains, bathroom floodings, playground rusting, and etc.
