Salon Rise

I contemplated writing a review but after getting my hair done at a different salon and her asking “who in the world did your hair last?” I felt like I had to write a review. I went into Salon Rise in July and saw Christina. I told her to make me as blonde as she could and showed her a picture of what I wanted. She told me it was near impossible to get that blonde which I was surprised by since I have been getting my hair foiled my whole life and have always been platinum blonde. After she did my hair I could barely notice I got anything done and paid for a full foil + $40 for toner which didn’t do anything different to my hair.nnThe hairdresser who did my hair afterwards took pictures of the back of my hair and showed me how Christina’s “cut corners” and did my foils very spread out and uneven. Explaining why I didn’t see much of a difference after I got it done.nnI’m not writing this to put her on blast but to hopefully save people some money as I felt I very much wasted $200+.nnI wish this review would allow me to post pictures as the pictures would show how bad the foil really was.

I have been going to Aimee for 8 or 9 years. I was so happy when she opened her own salon! It is SO CUTE, bright and happy! There is plenty of parking! She is a master at blonde hair, I always have people asking me about my hair color and they are always surprised to learn that I drive over an hour to get to Aimee! Yup, I don't even live in Tacoma but its worth it! She is so fun to talk with too and makes you feel so special! Really missing her right about now during this closure and can't wait to get back in her chair!

Aimee is the best! My hair is wild, likes to do its own thing. Aimee has worked with me to find a style I love and takes very little care. She is also a very nice person and that , to me, is a big part of the salon experience

This salon has a great vibe, with amazing talent.

My son and I are so glad our favorite hairdresser, Noah, is there now.
