Thank you to our FALLEN PEACE OFFICER HEROES. YOU are first responders. YOU have never failed in my safekeeping. YOUR watch is the reason we are regaining our parks and beaches. YOU are the ones breaking up the domestic violence and stopping the thievery created by this virus. My veritable hat is off to you.

My review and rating came in two parts. First part being for the Redondo Beach Residence and businesses! This second part for non-residence with actual case! RBPD wise in the way they set-up their process for audit! My agenda was to file a report after enormous consideration! Individuals involved are thugs that hassle and assault both non and residence of Redondo Beach with addition to their ringleader! Organized crime involved! I having much more experience than the officer I spoke with on this matter! Regardless, if I would have contacted police immediately after all three separate incident and or when I was suppose to return to district objective of Office would be the same! Redirect the non-residence from filing report that would be a negative for area! There was a time, being associate to city counsel & Mayor, I could override all this red tape and file a report! The Mayor unfortunately is over whelmed due to tragic medical results with his position in question! This rating and review begins when speaking directly to Officer! I do not wish to insult law enforcement or the badge, but as a person that has given decades of support to Redondo Beach and only once asking for assistance I have been corrected by the public with the actions of this office! My warning to all non-residence is to handle all matters as best as you can without involving RBPD! They will only respond and be in favor of local businesses and residence! They will do what ever it takes to not file a report or file anything negative against their district! Conclusion established by Officer at the end of my conversation was to never return again! This matter containing fact that disqualify this office from being the rating and review! Rating and Review of one Star given for my investigation that will make things better! My complaint mishandled by RBPD now has federal jurisdiction. Please except my apologies for this office's handling of the peoples matters that must be substantial! Literally some cop in a k9 suv almost ran us off the road and stopped in the middle of the street and asked what I was doing as I was trying to turn. Wow. Love this area but the police here are next level. Chill out

Last night at 7:35pm, I had a knock at my door, as I wasn’t expecting anyone I turned my porch light on and peeled thru the blinds of my locked door. There was a man standing off the steps looking down at his phone in his hand, I asked him ‘can I help you?’ He muttered something under his breath, and hearing my dog bark, he turned and walked south west toward Broadway and Sapphire. (I live on S Guadalupe) I called the RB police station, as this seemed to me as if he were checking to see if someone was home or not before breaking into the house. I knew my next door neighbor had just left her house. The phone was answered after about six rings and I was immediately asked if this was an emergency, I said no and they put me on hold. Fair enough. A minute later Alex picked up the phone. I explained the above and his snarky answer was ‘so you’re calling because someone knocked on your door?????’ I said that to me, this was unusual behavior, reiterating that I knew my neighbor was out. Again with voice full of incredulity, he asked what I want him to do.....I said send someone out here and check this guy out. So he asked for a description, which I gave him, then again with total disgust at this waste of time he asked if I wanted an officer to follow up with me, I said yes. And he hung up. I have yet to have anybody follow up with me. You want to know why police are generally disliked??? Treating citizens like their concerns are a waste of time is only one reason. Police are sworn to protect the citizens of our city, I did not feel protected or listened to at all. Seriously worst police interaction I’ve ever had!!!! Alex needs to be reschooled in customer service.
