This review is for new principal who was the principal at lark Ellen, my son had some speach problems and during the two year at the lark Ellen when she was the principal my son was pretty bad and during the meeting the principal never show up to see if she could help or just be present, she always has bad attitude towards help kids or meet with parents, now my son is at grove center and my two kids are first in the classroom on reading they are doing so good and I'm really happy my kids are not with this lazy principal, now every time my kids and I have a meeting with speach therapists the principal at grove center is always there not like this other always an excuse why she couldn't be present...... GOOD LUCK MERWIN PARENTS AND STUDENT

I love Merwin it has lots of great things. But now I'm a sixth grader who go's to Las Palmas . For kindergarten I had Ms. Greaves, For 1st grade I had Mrs. Spolar, For 2nd grade I had Ms.Shaffer, For 3rd grade I had Mrs.Sallenbach, For 4th grade I had Mr.Villagran, and for 5th grade I had Ms. Allred she was a really great teacher but now she works at Tray wick as a coach for 8th grade. She was great.Mr.Helabrin was really great too he gave us Starburst for answering a question in science which was really fascinating. This school will call the police and child protective services to cover their tracks. They act like they car but, in all reality they will avoid your concerns based on your children's education, and based on them getting bullied. They do not care about the kids that go to their school. The principal is a fraud. She acts like she listens to your concerns but, instead she laughs it off and takes it upon herself to call social workers and tell them the parents are negligent,abusive, and cause them of not helping their children. When a child gets bullied or comes home with bruises they say they have no clue and then they call the police behind your back saying it was the parents who must have hit the child because, they don't want to take responsibility for the lack of attention they have to put on the kids while under their care. Do not I repeat do not bring your child here unless, you want the police knocking at your door in the middle of the night when your kids are sleeping to search if they're abused or not. This school aims the highest in gossip and lies. The education here sucks.

THIS SCHOOLS WEBSITE IS OUT OF DATE FROM OVER 2 YEARS AGO. NOT TO SURE ABOUT SENDING MY CHILD TO A SCHOOL THAT HAS OUT OF DATE INFORMATION ONLINE AND NO CURRENT INFO!
