Newly opened, I think. Best laundromat I've been in, within Tacoma. Highly recommend. The husband and wife who own it don't speak much English, but they can understand enough and are very helpful. They also are inside actively sanitizing, frequently, which has been a concern for most I'm sure. They put my worries to ease.

Its a shame. The machines are awesome but the people are terrible. They have no patience. I had stuff loaded in the big washers and while i was loading the clothes i had left into a smaller washer. They attempted to take my clothes out of the washer cause it wasnt running when the couple clearly watch me just load it. Then when my sister was putting money into the washer while i was filling 2 of 4 washers i was using with soap the lady has the gull to push thw start button while my sister explained there was no soap yet . beyond rude and impatient. Im debating never going back after today . smh

My wife and I were walking in today, when we met a fellow who was leaving, confused and surprised. He said he was about to get quarters from the change machine when he was told he could not do his laundry at this place. He was black.nnTogether, we all left and went to do our laundry at the place across the street from the 7-11 at 56th & McKinley. Great place, and also slightly cheaper.
