Bandelier Elementary School

When my husband and I were looking to move after our son was born, we were looking for a house near a great elementary school and near the university where my husband works. We found a house near Bandelier Elementary School and we jumped at the opportunity. My son is now in 3rd grade and what we most value about the school are the very active parents and caring teachers at Bandelier, and the sense of community pride in the school. We love how our son can walk to school, and he runs into his friends at neighborhood parks and in the nob hill area after school. Many of our neighbors send their children to Bandelier so there is a tight-knit community of like-minded families. It has been so easy to be involved in the PTA and other school activities--and there are so many--because all activities and events are so well organized. Every family I have met have met at Bandelier (and the community is diverse) shares the desire to build a kind, caring and stimulating environment for our children. In sum, we are appreciate all that Bandelier has to offer!

Bandelier has been a great school for my daughter. She has excelled academically and done great projects researching caves, the human body and bridges. Her teachers have been outstanding - Nationally Board certified, caring and challenging. I've also found a great community of parents who support the school.

Bandelier was such a great school ....until Mrs. Armstrong left.
