Karshner Elementary School

We are big fans of supporting the school you live in and not opting out to go elsewhere. Generally speaking, we've had a good experience and love that our kids are in diverse (ethnically, economically) classes that will (hopefully) make them better citizens in the future.

My kids teacher is pretty awesome, Ms. Bare. I've noticed huge improvements. But that's not where my issue is.nnThe parking at this school is ridiculous. The parent drop off area at the front of the school is flooded by faculty. I guess the expectation is that parents park as far away from the school as possible so the teachers and other staff are allowed to park as close as possible.nThe school doesn't seem to care what kind of inconvenience it is to parents, or even the buses that drop kids off who have to wait cause parents park in bus drop zones, as long as they can jump in their cars as quickly as possible.nThe principal, Mrs Baldwin, definitely only cares what kind of inconvenience is caused to her by not being able to park close. When the issue is brought to her, she claims that there is no parking and it's all city space.
