My family has been part of the MCW community for about four years. My son attended from ages 2-5 and my daughter (3) has attended for one year. My kids were both in the little kid room and in the big kid room with Ms. Valerie. We like the school so much that we commute everyday about 1 hour to attend.nnThis school is a great fit for my family's needs. They include the following:nn#1: Affordability. The school is about half (or even less) of the price of schools that my parent friends send their kids too. Granted, this school doesn't have all of the bells and whistles of these other schools (e.g., daily updates/photos of your kids, fancy playground equipment), but those things aren't important to us (and we don't have to take part in never ending fundraising either).nn#2: Sanitary environment. My children rarely get sick. The rooms are spacious and the school is not overcrowded.nn#3: Diversity. My kids' friends are from backgrounds that are different from their own in many ways, which is great preparation for the diversity of elementary school and beyond.nn#4: Flexibility. The staff has been very accommodating with various situations that have arisen (e.g., starting and stopping because of travel for work, etc.). This is not a fussy place; we've had no problems getting our needs met.nnBut perhaps most important is how much our kids (especially my daughter) have loved going here. My daughter is excited to go to preschool and doesn't want to leave on most days. She talks incessantly about the kids in her class, and loves them all (and her teachers Ms. Valerie and Ms. Emily) dearly.
This is a very good school. My son and daughter went to this school, they are adults now. My son is a doctor and my daughter is a lawyer. I recommend this school very much.
I've been there and i loved my experience there now when i drive by i see a lot of things gone that i have seen while i was there. I loved that place even though i was never religious it was perfect but when i saw the reviews i new they were lying because that place was like a home to me. But the new changes are kinda not safe because its all asphalt and i see no grass.
This is a very good school specially for children ages 3 and above. The really teach the Montessori method. My daughter who used to go there decided to bring her daughter to this school coz she found out that her own teacher is still teaching. She went to check the other school but was not impressed. My daughter was so impressed with this school. Kudos to Ms Nilufer and Ms Karen
I remember coming here after (apparently) getting kicked out of my first preschool for fighting (in all respect, I was also told I was being picked on a lot). I remember my time being here from running through the playground trying to get onto the tricycles, being on the swings with the big tree in the corner and the (what used to be huge to me) small slide seperated by a row of tires I would climb all over. It was so amazing being there and I vividly remember so much about the place! I had friends where I can still picture trying to put together a picture puzzle with deep sea creatures together, looking over the bigger kids shoulders to watch them play Dora the Explorer on their Gameboy, trying to button and unbutton the row of different shirt buttons along a row near the entrance to the play hall, the nap times on the green hammock things, doing a cowboy themed play and having to follow all these really colorful electric tapes (which I think is why I really like colored electric tape), and even going upstairs to where the mini library was to watch a show or be told a story.nI look back now and realize that the area isnt great or the building as new and clean as others, but it was such a memorable and happy period of time in my life and I wouldn't trade it for anything!
