It is very difficult to file a police report here. They want you to fill out a significant amount of paperwork that requires you sacrifice an arm and leg to get accomplished. All that says to anyone who comes through is that the staff is lazy and has impacted rules to put a portion of their job onto the victim. But on the upside the facility is pretty clean.

The MP's on base speed thru housing complexes all hours of the day and night with no sirens on or lights on and instead of passing out tickets to speeders here on base how bout you fill em out n give them to yourselves speeding in a 20mph zone doing 30 plus mph especially whoever drives the MP SUV but not to exclude the patrol cars and undercover vehicles and gaurd vans. I have no doubt they're also speeding thru in their regular vehicle.

Went in to assist a friend with filing a protection order violation after Pierce Co stated the jurisdiction fell on JBLM. I'm an officer in Oregon and after having read the PO and knowing the details of the 3rd party harassing behavior, there's was clearly a violation. The MP didnt even read the order and then claimed because the respondent didnt directly contact the petitioner and didnt threaten actual violence then there wasnt a violation. The lack of legal knowledge along with the extremely lazy investigation the MP conducted left MUCH to be desired. If you're not willing to put in the work this job requires then get a different job. Very disappointed in the stain on the profession JBLM displayed in this case.
