I happened to be in the area of Southgate/Lynwood. I had stopped by Casa Jimenez for a bite to eat when I noticed a water main break coming up from the street off of San Antonio. In don't live in the area so I proceeded to call Southgate PD. When I reported the water flooding all the office could say was that's not city of South gate. I can't help you. Needless to say, I was disappointed in this PD depts response. I then took it upon myself to call Lynwood sheriff's dept as I am a firm believer in civil responsibility. The officer took my information, asked me to clarify exactly where the flooding was and then assured me he would call public works to report it immediately. What a difference! Good for you Lynwood Sheriff Deptment!!

I remember reporting a noise complaint a few times. In the second time, one of the sheriff told me and my family to go to sleep or to get out of America if we didn’t like how law enforcement handled noise complaints. Every since this happened, I always keep my camera and audio recorded ready so the world can appreciate what is like to be a minority seeking assistance from the law enforcement.nnTo every citizen reading this review, always review and speak up against law enforcement’s unprofessional conduct.

Lady who answers is extremely rude and they would never show up. . At this point I don't know who to call .nnThis department sucks!nThey care more for criminals!

I just call to make a complint and the person that answered was Deputy Flores, she was so rudeeeeee, they need to be trained on this. We are not the criminals yet they treat us as if we were. How sad! Whst happened to protect n serve?

I feel like the person who answered officer leos was very annoyed with me. The tone in her voice just made me feel useless. She wouldn't give me any numbers to contact for any of the la courts systems. I feel like this department failed to make me feels safe or secured. Hopefully they review the call , but as always the business of law enforcement would just laugh it off and think nothing of this incident.
