Exciting school highly diverse great staff (Making it happen Mona) Mr. Washington and Mr.Robinson the cafeteria ladies Ms. Blanca and the Nurse and Therapist Ms. Khaoba excuse me if I spelled your name wrong. Teachers are great My so had a most memorable time I did also has a volunteer highly community base school. Great job Mrs.Hughes
My Child is a 4yr Old Special needs Student However he does not get bused. It becomes very difficult, challenging, and very upsetting That this school makes it difficult to park ANYWHERE for parents who have to escort/walk their special needs child or pre-k child to their class room. It would be nice and more accommodating if The Teacher Aids were outside to Escort The Special Needs Kids to their classroom who are both Bused and Transported by Vehicle. That way parents do not have to continuously circle around for parking or get ticketed. As the only available parking you do provide in the area is far from the school entrance and even then you'll have to wait for a space to be available at times. Also West port Heights Staff can use annual training on etiquette, professionalism, and quality of Student Care.... How do you find it Conducive to place a Different Substitute Teachers in a Special Needs Classroom all of which do NOT Specialize in Special Education For consecutive days at of time while their Teacher is Out??? To say I am NOT happy with the Level of Care is an Understatement. But it NEEDS to Get Better and improve a better environment for both students and parents.
