A very good friend recommended Spanish in Action to me as I was looking for him to start speaking more. My son understands most spanish, as I am from Argentina and I speak spanish at home with him, but he is not very fluent. We started semi-private classes and he came back from his first class so excited and ready for more that I could not believe it. I am not sure exactly how the magic happens... I can't wait for him to continue working with Senora Maria regularly.

Maria's class is excellent. As someone who learned Spanish as a child and then lost a lot of it because I lost interest, I can say Maria's class executes the most important aspect of language education: she makes it fun. My son WANTS to learn Spanish. I have sat through her lessons twice and they are exceptional. She uses full immersion but it is not daunting for kids because she uses visuals, songs and artwork to communicate to the children in other ways. I recommend it to all my friends.

Spanish In Action is absolutely the place to have your child experience excellence in another culture while feeling at home and welcomed, confident to try new things and allow themselves to explore the spanish culture through their own view. I’m a mom of three and my two year old daughter loves the class. We love the set up of the classroom, the curriculum Maria has prepared for the kids will have your children speaking, understanding and singing in Spanish in no time. We love Maria and her staff. We had an amazing experience at Spanish in Action. My 5 year old completed a week long summer camp and came home with so much Spanish language, songs and stories. Maria is so full of energy and gets the kids excited about learning. Her classroom is clean, bright and welcoming. We are looking forward to taking classes in the Fall and further supporting our children as they learn about Latin culture and become bilingual.

My 3 children have attended Spanish in Action for the last 2 years, and we are very happy with Maria's curriculum, and, importantly, her positive attitude in teaching elementary school children. My children always come home happy with huge smiles, and Maria provides feedback regarding each child's progress. The classroom is fun and engaging just like Maria!
