Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews

Very clean compared to others I have visited. Was seated promptly even though it was dinner rush. Unfortunately waited over 10 minutes to be acknowledged by anyone. Was finally acknowledged by a server who indicated she would takeover for whoever it was assigned to and apologized. She then made up for the wait by quickly ordering and delivery our drinks, proactively got us fries as an appetizer, a discount card for our next visit and the rest of our food and drinks were delivered promptly. The quality of the food was amazing! I especially enjoyed their bbq wing appetizer. I appreciate the mistake was corrected and I left with a very positive impression.

I am writing on behalf of my husband (John) and son (Shane's) experience in the Bonney Lake Red Robin on September 4, 2020.nThe reason for their visit was to celebrate John's 68th Birthday. Not only is Red Robin a popular choice for John due to his love of burgers, but I had recently helped celebrate a close girlfriend 's Birthday at another Red Robin location in Auburn where the staff was so pleasant and asked me if I wanted them to sing hernHappy Birthday and even gave her a free icecream sundae.nShe was thrilled!nI videotaped the whole thing and showed the video to my son which gave him the idea to take his dad to the nearest Red Robin to us in Bonney Lake.nnWhen they got to the Bonney Lake Restaurant and ordered their food my son then asked about singing Happy Birthday to his dad. This is the response that he received : We only do that for children. End of story . No happy birthday wishes, or offer of icecream. Nothing.nnOf course they didn't really care so much about the icecream and I am sure that John may have been saved some embarrassment, but my son who is 23 yrs old, wanted to see his veteran dad's birthday, (yes he fought for his country), celebrated in a fun memorable way.nnShane is a very polite young man and didn't pursue this further but later when we discussed the situation I could sense the disappointment coming from him.nnSo in conclusion maybe the next time someone even if they aren't a child, wants to have such a simple thing as happy birthday sang to them please remember, a few extra minutes of kindness shown may mean little or nothing to you but to another it may be what makes their day!nnShane's grandmother's birthday was also September 4th, we gave her to heaven last August.nShe would have been celebrating 88 years young today.nnRegards,nnKathleen

This location is my favorite so far of the many I've tried in the south sound area. They were slammed when me and my wife came in. 30 minute wait, totally ok as we didn't have anything else to do. The person at the door was kind and courteous, letting us know of the wait. When we were seated, our waitress was on it and present, given the busyness. All of our order was made quickly without problems, and the staff was very good. My burger was made perfectly (not that I'm a perfectionist haha). Great staff and prompt service. Totally recommend.

Got takeout. The staff was friendly, quick, and fun to chat with. Food was alright.

Update 11/04/2020:nnOk, completely different experience this time. Service was awesome. Plenty of staff and they were right there before you even had to ask for anything. Food was delicious as usual. Really great job guys! Recommendednn10/25/2020 update:. So sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooow!!!!! Everything was slow. No one came to our table after we were seated for 5min. Early fries showed up after our entrees. Napkins came after I was completely done with my meal. Food is good and prices are good. Staff is nice, just not very good. SorrynnRestaurant is on the smaller side for a Red Robin but decent. Staff is friendly. The hostess stand is right in front of the outside door so there are always traffic jams coming in/leaving. Food is good and wait times are pretty average. Not a bad joint overall.
