Pacific County Historical Society & Museum

Super cute little museum with a nice selection of books and a few local artist postcards and such. Check out the local history curated and displayed so it’s a feast for the eyes. The oyster plates are something else. This place is only open a few hours a day and staffed with local volunteers who are very nice and happy to chat. It’s a really nice place to stop to take pics and gather knowledge about the history and culture of a small town not yet touched by big box stores and strip mall outlets. A rarity these days.nStop by on your way in and out when going to the coast or on a road trip and you’ll be sure to see something new there is so much in the museum. It’s free but nice to give a donation as you leave. The money is used for local causes.

This one room museum obviously worth a quick visit if you driving by. Also pub across the street serves good ousters.
